Registration for the Before and After School Program (S.M.I.L.E./C.A.S.T.L.E.) will be held on Thursday, August 17th from 6-7pm in the Somers Point Senior Citizens’ Center located at 22 Ambler Rd. A second registration will be held at the same location on Friday, August 18th from 10-11am. This program is for children entering Pre-K through Grade 6. Please note that the CER Office will be closing to the public from August 18th – 22nd in order to process the large volume of registrations, but will re-open on Wednesday, August 23rd. You must be registered for the program by Wednesday, August 30th at 12 noon to be included on the schedule for the first week of school, NO EXCEPTIONS. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis: a waiting list will come into effect if the program is full.
Please be prepared to fill out medical and emergency forms along with your child’s schedule for the Castle and/or Smile program for September. Please note that you will not be permitted to register if you have a past due balance with Smile/Castle or Summer Day Camp. We will be using a punch card system again this year; each day your child attends, an attendance pass will be clipped to log the days they attend. You are required to purchase an attendance card in order to complete your registration. If you are new to the program, a $25.00 registration fee will be required. Credit card payments are not accepted.
